Health and Safety

• Current Covid-19 regulations and guidelines for Face Painters fall under the Beauty/Body Artists Industry. We adhere to the strictest of hygiene policies to keep your children and our artists safe.

• For sanitary reasons, our artists may refuse to paint any person who looks sick, this includes but is not limited to – allergies, mosquito bites, any broken skin, cold / flu symptoms, cold sores, conjunctivitis, sties, eczema, psoriasis, acne, open cuts and grazes, chickenpox, possible infectious skin conditions, coughing, sneezing, runny nose, rashes, red eyes, etc.It is the Parent/Guardian's responsibility to notify the Face Painter if the child has sensitive skin, food allergies or reactions to soaps, creams, or dyes.

• To avoid disruption, children should be well supervised (by a responsible adult) and not left unattended while they are waiting.

• Children (and their actions) remain the responsibility of their Parents/Guardians at all times.

• Face Paint is not suitable for children under 3 years of age, therefore children under three will not have their faces painted. It is at the discretion of the Face Painter whether they may do a small arm painting instead.

• Face painters will not paint anyone who does not want to be painted.

• Most professional face paints contain anti-microbial agents and are made with FDA-approved ingredients, they are specifically made for use on the face and skin.

• Face paints are easily removed with a facecloth and gentle soap & water.

• Some colors may leave a light tint on the skin lasting a day or two.

• Please do not allow your child to sleep in their Face Paint as it heightens the risk of reaction.

• All of our Face Painters go through in-depth training to ensure the safety of your children is at the highest standard.

• All of our Face Painters have current Working With Children's Checks.

• We will not double-dip brushes and we use one sponge per child.

• We sanitize all equipment between each person, including the seat/ladder.

We thank you for helping us keep everyone safe 😊

Face Paint Removal Tips

'Important'

Do not use water or baby wipes first

It is recommended that you gently apply a mild soap lathered washcloth in a circular motion until the paint loosens. Then gently rinse with water or a washcloth.

Repeat if necessary.

Any remaining traces can be removed with a gentle oil-based cleanser.

***Please remove Face Paint before bed as sleeping with Face Paint on can increase the risk of reaction ***
